Inversiones Shama del Norte is a costarican company dedicated to produce and export the best products from the land.

The company facilities are located in Los Chiles, a county of the province of Alajuela, at the north of Costa Rica.  This region is known for its good weather and lands to grow up roots and other cultivations.

Brief company history

In 1996 year, Dagoberto Brenes starts working in the roots market, just as an another costarican farmer.  By the 2001 year, he decides to fund Inversiones Shama del Norte S.A., company created to produce and sells first class products for both the local and international markets.

By the 2004 year, Shama del Norte builds it first processing facility, which is able to support the all root process cycle, from the cleaning, passing for the dry process till the final packaging and transport, getting by the end a very high quality product.

The high production standards, applied since the land preparation and harvesting till the final product processing allow Shama del Norte to produce a product that keeps its natural characteristics, like flavor and smell.

Today, the company has more than 100 acres of lands dedicated to the roots cultivation, more than fity employees(20 in the processing facilities and the others in the field labors).

Inversiones Shama del Norte has a group of frequent customers, including Productos Agrícolas del Campo, Corporación CRL, Hortifruti S.A., Importaciones y Exportaciones Caribú y Maba S.A.

As an additional service, Shama del Norte also offers the product processing service, for both local an international market, including cleaning, drying and packaging of the final product.
